Choice of Flooring – If this is a part of your individual design project, the choice of flooring can be one of the most dramatic elements noticeable within a room.  Wall-to-wall carpeting, Hardwood Floors, area rugs, tile all have unique attributes that can influence color, texture, lighting even, within the room.  If your design project consists of an existing floor, Aspen Rustic is happy to use it’s qualities as a starting point to build from in its plan.

Lighting – Natural Light and Electric Illumination both work together to set very different moods during the day and the seasons.  A simple addition of candle light or a fireplace can increase the complexity of this medium.  Using light correctly can set in motion the proper mood for the room.  Soft amber light is often accompanied a feeling of formality while subtle blue tones give a cool, crisp emotion.  Tones in wood, textures, and shades of paint colors can all change dramatically under different light conditions.
